Hey everyone, I have a bit of a weird question. I have a habit that when I develop feelings for a friend I will sabotage the friendship. I believe it makes escaping the grueling thoughts of rejection and pain easier. It often is.

Most of the time before I even ask the friend out I know I will be rejected. I am just not that guy based on many factors. There's a better chance the aliens will speak to us before I get a girlfriend.

If I were to go confessing feelings to a friend that I know I'll be rejected would it be better to admit then and go don't worry I already know the answer, it's no and start naming off reasons, or continuing the sabotage pattern?

I feel bad doing both to some degree but when I get feelings for a friend I'm just not able to be around them anymore, I physically get sick and my brain goes to remove the problem. And before anyone says how do you know they don't like you back? It's because I very much know I'm not any of these people's type.
